Hikikomori is a social phenomenon that occurs in Japan where a teenager or adult withdraws from social life by confining himself all day at home. Japan has many cultures and habits that are considered unique by many people around the world, which is unique in that even though the country led by an emperor already has very advanced technology, its people highly uphold national and traditional culture.
